How to Wash and Care for Tencel-Lyocell

All our shirts are 100% Tencel-Lyocell and hand washing is always the best and safest method for washing lyocell.

Hand wash in cold water using a few drops of a delicates-friendly liquid detergent. You can add white vinegar to the water, it will help break the soap and will keep the colors bright.. Place the shirt in soapy water and gently swirl them around with your hands for a few minutes. Rinse well, do not wring, instead press the water out of the item. Keep in mind that while handwashing clothes, it’s important not to scrub, twist or stretch them.

We do not recommend fabric softeners.

Pre‑treat stains before washing by dabbing a small amount of white vinegar or stain remover on the area. For darker pieces, patch test on an inside seam to check the colour won’t be affected. Do not rub the fabric to remove the stain, soak the stain instead.

To dry, lay the garment on a towel and roll up the towel to absorb excess water. Then lay flat on a drying rack or hang on a hanger to air dry.

To iron, use the lowest temperature, or steam the garments.

Following these instructions you increase the lifespan of your favorite wardrobe items, so you can enjoy them as long as possible.
